At ACA we love to partner up with the local community and offer architectural work experience to local students. In fact, we have already worked with around ten students so far this year.
Recently ACA welcomed two more architecture work experience students to the Practice! The students were, Grace from Wolfreton School and Sixth Form College and Alfie from Beverley Grammar School. They spent the entire working week with us.
On the first day, we introduced the students to REVIT architectural software. For the remainder of the week the students researched the designs and make up of different houses. Then, using REVIT software, the students produced a plan of what their dream house looks like. In fact, Alfie opted for a much more modern design in comparison with Grace’s more traditional. Using catalogues, brochures and the internet, the students were then able to find their desired furniture for their dream houses. In addition, both students learnt how to use the software rapidly and clearly enjoyed the process.
