ACA Sponsors NHS “Patient Safety” award!
Recently, ACA attended the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust ‘Staff Celebration’ Event which took place at Lazaat hotel in Willerby.
Earlier in the year, nominations opened for staff to nominate their peers for one of the 14 award categories.
Attendees celebrated as the event sponsors announced the winners and presented them with their awards.
Managing Director of ACA, Alessandro Caruso commented:
“First of all, congratulations to all of the winners! For ACA, patient safety is paramount. So, it was a pleasure to sponsor this award and participate in celebrating champions of patient safety. Our mission is to build spaces that prioritise healing and improve patient experiences. Also, we aim to set new standards for excellence in healthcare architecture. That’s why we take a holistic approach to our healthcare projects. For instance, we include evidence-based design principles that prioritise patient safety without compromising on aesthetics”.
In fact, the Patient Safety award is hugely important and there were two winners in this category. Both Kathy Hobman, AMHP (Miranda House) and the Derwent Ward at Humber Centre achieved the award!
Over 300 attendees including staff and sponsors attended the glittering, black-tie event. It was a hugely successful evening and a great example of how the Trust celebrates the hard work shown by its employees.
