About the book
“Design & Meditation” is a personal narrative that explores Alex’s physical and emotional recovery after his accident through which he discovered a profound connection between personal wellbeing and the spaces we inhabit. This realisation became the cornerstone of his design philosophy, leading him to incorporate elements that promote health and wellbeing into all his architectural projects.
Alex commented: “I wanted to share my story to inspire others who might be facing their own challenges and to highlight the importance of designing spaces that nurture our wellbeing. My experience taught me that architecture can play a vital role in our recovery and overall health.”
In “Design & Meditation,” Alex details his rehabilitation journey, sharing insights into how meditation and mindfulness not only aided his recovery, but also transformed his professional outlook.
