ACA has designed the refurbishment for two Operating Theatre Suites at Northwick Park Hospital. Furthermore, Northwick Park Hospital is governed by London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.
The Brief
The brief was to design the refurbishment and improvement of the operating suites with internal alterations and reconfiguration. Also, it was to modernize the spaces, and host the da Vinci Surgical Robot System.
Crucially, ACA’s design team understood the needs of the medical staff. It is fundamental to create healthier experiences for doctor, nurses, and patients.
The proposed refurbishment of the operating suite comprises:
- Operating theatre for Robotic-assisted surgery
- Laboratory
- Anaesthetic Room
- Scrub Room
- Clean and Dirty Utility Rooms
- Exit Lobby
