ACA were commissioned to produce a feasibility study for the expansion of Hull Royal Infirmary.

ACA were commissioned to produce a feasibility study for the expansion of Hull Royal Infirmary. The feasibility proposes to demolish the Wilson Building and replace it with an extension to the Women and Children’s Hospital which will integrate the new Front Entrance for the Tower Block, a feasibility study previously explored by ACA to improve the hospital’s entrance and landscape.

The expansion and improvement to the Women and Children’s Hospital incorporates key principles developed as part of a master plan to improve the visitor experience. The proposal will be built with modular construction technology, using Spandrel Panels with colours that match the Elevation of the Tower Block. The Trust’s brand colours will highlight new inviting walls that open the new access to Hull Royal Infirmary.
