Guest Lecture at Lincoln University

Recently, ACA were thrilled to attend and participate at Lincoln University Careers Day.

In fact, the Lincoln School of Architecture and Built Environments Careers Day aims to inspire potential architecture students.

So, Alex, Hazar, Kornel and Shinu went along to chat to the students.

Additionally, Alex presented a guest lecture entitled ‘The Architect’s Perspective: a journey towards healing’.

The Guest Lecture

Alex’s presentation focused on the design inspiration behind the Allam Diabetes Centre.

Particularly, he illustrated the exploration of a possible harmonious pattern to design an empathic experience.

In addition he discussed the process behind space, relationships and emotions as a language to create immersive experiences.

ACA’s Career Stall

As well as the guest lecture, the ACA team ran a stall at the careers fair.

In fact, many students who attended were from interior design and project management backgrounds, exploring different roles.

So, the ACA team demonstrated their expertise to inform and inspire potential future architects.

As a result, many students showed considerable interest in work experiences at ACA through the summer.

ACA’s Architectural Assistant, Kornel Witkowski said:
