The ACA team jumped for joy on hearing the news that we are World Design Awards winners!

In fact, our win was for the state-of-the-art, £19.4 million Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Scunthorpe city centre! This will be one of the first in the country!
On behalf of Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG), this project is currently on site! And, we can’t wait to update you on its progress, so watch this space!

Primarily the brief required a world-class, state-of-the-art landmark to enhance Scunthorpe city centre.
The purpose-built CDC will be a one-stop-shop providing access to a range of diagnostic tests closer to home!
Interestingly, the wave silhouettes of the ultra-sound tissue harmonic imaging inspired the elevations design.

Our success is a thanks to a collaborative design approach with the Trust. Also, it is a testament to the talent and passion of our remarkable team.
The vision behind the Community Diagnostic Centre aims to redefine the healthcare experience. We wanted to create more than just a building. So, our goal was to establish a space that fosters healing, community engagement and accessibility to diagnostic services.
At the heart of our philosophy is a commitment to patient-centred design and providing an environment that promotes a sense of calm, comfort and well being.
This recognition shows our commitment to architectural excellence and is a celebration of the innovative designs that define our architectural ethos. In addition, it shows the profound impact that thoughtful design can have on healthcare spaces.
Being World Design Award winners gives us renewed inspiration to continue pushing the boundaries of architectural innovation!
